- DMG and Rapid Shape announce a strategic materials partnership
- In close cooperation, high-quality dental 3D printing materials will be developed and validated for Rapid Shape printers.
- The first material parameters for occlusal splints and more can be expected at IDS 2019 (March 12 - 16, 2019, Cologne).
DMG and the 3D printer manufacturer Rapid Shape combine their competences and announce the commencement of their strategic partnership. While DMG produces high-quality photopolymers, Rapid Shape is known for its high-precision, fast and sturdy printers.
Together in close cooperation, tried and tested materials are developed for the end customer and thus the strategy of Rapid Shapes of an open system is further pursued and expanded. The cooperation is intended to present high-quality 3D printing material solutions for professional use in laboratories and dental clinics. The initial highlight and priority of the current cooperation is the development of material for occlusal splints. The first material parameters are expected at the IDS 2019 event in Cologne.
